A chance encounter
Clément, a French student, and Niklas, of German origin, are backpacking through England, guided more by instinct than by a plan. In a shop, they meet Shen, a Chinese expatriate, who re-imagines Japanese football shirts by hand.
First product, first failure
Encouraged by this encounter, Clément and Niklas launched their first creation. The project found its audience, without really taking off, and then gradually ran out of steam.
Back to the drawing board
Clément and Niklas decide to find Shen and offer him a collaboration. Touched by their story and sketches, he agrees to join them. The three of them then envision a new generation of Japanese jerseys.
Building despite the crisis
The Covid-19 epidemic is slowing down the project, but not stopping it. Clément and Niklas are creating their collection lines, while Shen is assisting them with manufacturers. The first samples confirm the project's potential and the online store opens.
